Abenteuerspielplatz Forcki

Crocodiles, giant turtles and elephants spouting water – in between screaming children run riot in around the paddling pool, wet from head to toe but with broad smiles on their faces. There's a lot going on in the Forcki in Berlin Friedrichshain, particularly in summer. Castles are built in the large sandpits and mud channels are dug. The children enjoy themselves on slides and swings, have a go on the ropeway, exercise on the mini-climbing wall or climb on the tree house. Of course, there’s also enough space for ball games and skateboarding on the almost 4,000 square metre site.

There’s also a café and a pedagogically supervised adventure and construction playground on site. While mothers and fathers swap news, children and youngsters between six and 14 can build, make things or just hang out. Various groups from the neighbourhood offer projects again and again where you can join in: from cooking together through computer games up to dancing. The range for fathers with children is particularly popular. These so-called Papa-picnics, with bread-on-a-stick baking and archery, take place regularly at the playground.
