Attractions

Walpurgis Night - Filmpark Babelsberg

Guests can learn about the tricks used by film and television professionals in the many sets and exhibitions. In unique shows, stuntmen, pyrotechnicians and film animal trainers demonstrate their skills and on the Street of Giants they even meet their film heroes in survival size!

The 4D action cinema or the world's first interactive XD experience cinema in the Dome of Babelsberg provide the necessary thrills. The Myth of Babelsberg Tour takes you past sets, props and original backdrops of "Monuments Men - Unusual Heroes" or "The Baader Meinhof Complex". Visitors can discover the themed area on their own or take part in a guided tour - in which case they get first-hand insider stories about the more than 100-year-old film city of Babelsberg and the Filmpark on top!

Special group offers provide insights into the exciting work of film professionals. At the end of an exciting day, an experience restaurant invites you to dine in mid-age between original props from the film 'Prinz Eisenherz'.

Sandmännchen and Löwenzahn - Babelsberg for Children and Young People

Stuntman Pass - Filmpark Babelsberg

And even the youngest visitors will have fun: at the witch's house from Hansel and Gretel, at Flimmy's Gold Rush or in Panama - Janosch's dreamland, children's hearts beat faster. Fun and entertainment is guaranteed for the whole family. As a highlight, Filmpark Babelsberg presents the outdoor decoration "Lummerland", from the cinema film production "Jim Knopf & Lukas der Lokomotivführer", based on the best-selling children's and young people's book by Michael Ende.

In the exhibition "Das Sandmännchen - Abenteuer im Traumland" (The Sandman - Adventures in Dreamland), little fans can get closer to their childhood hero and can even have a souvenir photo taken with him in the green-screen studio. In addition, children can explore the original "Löwenzahn" construction wagon from the science programme of the same name and finally let off steam in the adventure playground: The pendulum seesaw, the ropeway or a seesaw bridge require courage and skill, while in the bush house or on the palm island, on the other hand, one can retreat after mastering adventures.

Offers such as "Backstage with the Stunt Crew" give school classes a taste of film air. In the "Klasse(n) Filme(n)" project, pupils can make their own film under professional guidance. The Snapshot Factory is also a creative place where numerous interactive sets are available for photos and videos. Whether it's a selfie or a professional shoot - with perfectly lit sets ranging from press wall to prison cell, there's something for every shooting.
