Schöneberg Museum

With regularly changing exhibitions and city walks, the museum inspires visitors to engage with the district and its history. Visit the permanent exhibition Villa Global:

In 14 rooms, people from the most diverse generations and backgrounds are presented: Toddlers as well as grandmothers, rappers and journalists - but also a girl who gathers all her courage or a young man who pursues his dreams. Some people were born in Berlin or have lived in Berlin for a long time, others have only been living in the neighbourhood for a short time. They have all designed their living spaces themselves and also appear in video interviews. Visitors are invited to discover the great diversity of Berlin's residents, but also what they have in common.

In addition, there are guided tours, lectures and conferences or other events about Schöneberg's political, social and everyday history.

The Youth Museum is located in the same building and offers exciting permanent and special exhibitions for children and young people aged 8 and over, as well as an extensive workshop programme.

Information for school classes

There are fixed offers (e.g. as part of school projects or all-day lessons), but also specially designed workshops on the current exhibitions (e.g. project days for schools - by appointment).
