Die Freizeitparks Tegel & Lübars (leisure parks)

Two giant playgrounds in the north of the city In Tegel children swing on the ropeway over the playground, climb on the large spacenet and balance above the paddling pool. In Lübars they zoom down the slide, walk across the suspended bridge or perform tricks on their skateboards in the halfpipe. Both these playgrounds in the north of Berlin are in the middle of nature and at 5,000 (Tegel) and 6,700 square metres (Lübars) they are very generously sized.

District Tegel

In Tegel there is not only extensive playground equipment but also lots of sports fields. Basketball and football, volleyball and table tennis can be played here. There are even several tennis courts and a chess board with large figures. All sports equipment can be hired on site – just like the pedalos for a trip across the adjacent Großen Malchsee lake.

District Reinickendorf

The Lübars leisure park can be recognised from far away from the 82 metre high hill at its centre. In winter there is a very popular 300 m long toboggan run on this hill. During the other seasons it is surrounded by flying kites. On the playground, alongside fountains, sandpits and climbing and slide combinations, there is also a mini-golf course. A particular attraction is the nearby Alte Fasanerie (former Lübars family farm), a typical Brandenburg farm. Visitor groups can bake bread, make butter, process wool and much more.
