Die Mauer I The Wall

At first there was the idea of renovating the GDR border guard tower in Erna-Berger-Straße. But after the success of a series of anniversary exhibitions on the history of the Berlin Wall, the founding of an own museum was born. The exhibition shows finds from that time and brings history to life with numerous photos and original exhibits. Among other things, you will see original uniforms, newspaper clippings, firearms, badges, and old telephone and communication equipment. In addition, audio guides, guided tours and talks with contemporary witnesses are offered in several languages.
