Christmas market in Berlin on 9, 10, 16 and 17 December 2023
Are you looking for an unconventional Christmas market experience with a festive and hip atmosphere in a cool location? Then the Weihnachtsrodeo Designweihnachtsmarkt at the Colosseum Berlin is the place to go!
The Weihnachtsrodeo has been established in the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle of the capital for over 10 years. Annually changing locations make the indoor Christmas market an unforgettable Christmas experience in a hip atmosphere time and again.
This year, the Colosseum in Prenzlauer Berg will be the venue. The historic cultural venue has only recently reopened. In addition to three cinemas, there will also be readings, exhibitions and concerts on the site of the former Wagenhallen in Schönhauser Allee - and a design Christmas market during Advent.
Over 150 designers, artisans and manufactories offer creative and high-quality products for sale: here you can discover original and unique gift ideas: especially design, fashion, jewellery and art.
If you need a little break from Christmas shopping, chill-out oases invite you to unwind under Christmas trees. Various DJs provide the soundtrack to the unconventional Christmas spectacle with their beats and, in addition to a large selection of street food delicacies, there is of course mulled wine.
You can also get creative at the DIY workshops. In addition to practical sewing tricks, you can make your own Christmas decorations, learn rare printing techniques and much more. Exhibitions and live painting sessions by various artists round off the programme.
Schönhauser Allee invites you to browse with its many small shops. In small design shops you can find pretty gift ideas and continue your Christmas shopping after visiting the Christmas rodeo. Numerous cafés and restaurants offer refreshments during the shopping excursion.
The Colosseum is located on Schönhauser Allee in the middle of lively Prenzlauer Berg. We recommend using public transport to get there.
