300 years ago, Antonio Vivaldi published his famous violin concertos "The Four Seasons" in one print. The Lautten Compagney Berlin presents these and other Vivaldi pieces in their own new arrangements, which are a welcome departure from established listening habits.

Saxophone sounds and percussion effects are added to the baroque orchestra. Vivaldi could not have wished for a better "update" after 300 years!

Wolfgang Katschner, conductor

Duration approx. 120 minutes including break
