March 28 & 29, 2025 in Berlin
On March 28 and 29, 2025, Berlin institutions will open their doors to interested parties to take a look behind the scenes and experience the future of space travel firsthand.
People have always gazed at the stars in wonder. The universe influenced everyday life from an early stage: advanced civilizations like the Maya and Egyptians aligned their calendars with celestial bodies, while sailors used the stars to explore new worlds.
Today, space travel has become indispensable: navigation systems, stock exchange trading, live broadcasts, broadband communications, climate monitoring, and disaster relief would be unthinkable without space travel. Even everyday items like cordless screwdrivers and foam mattresses have their roots in space technology.
Participating in Berlin on Space Day 2025 are: Futurium, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, and the Department of Space Technology at TU Berlin.
Registration for the respective events is required.
