Berlin's wastelands are unique: an extraordinary variety of spontaneous vegetation from all over the world sprouts in them. The documentary film "Natura Urbana" by Matthew Gandy uses the changing vegetation to tell the story of Berlin from the destruction of war to the most recent phase of urban transformation.
Followed by a discussion with landscape architects Thilo Folkerts and Fanny Brandauer and Sandra Jasper, co-author and co-producer of "Natura Urbana: The Brachen of Berlin".
