Motto 2024 “History(s) in your luggage – czas historii, czas podróży”
If you want to experience the inspiring city of Wroclaw, the best way to travel from Berlin is by train. Every weekend until December 2024, the cultural train will again connect Berlin and Wrocław with lots of culture. Readings, concerts, karaoke, language courses, club nights - almost everything is possible.

Around 100,000 passengers and more than 1,000 international artists have traveled on the cultural train in recent years. During the entertaining 4.5-hour journey, passengers engage creatively with the language and themes of the different regions.
This season's theme, "Stories in Luggage - Time of History, Time of Travel", will, among other things, deal with the anniversaries of important events in Europe and give space to current discourses.
In September and October the program will reflect the 85th anniversary of Germany's attack on Poland on September 1, 1939 and thus the beginning of the Second World War. It will shed light on various aspects of the period of occupation of Poland by National Socialist Germany, as well as present its own formats on the 63 days of the Warsaw Uprising.

In around 4:30 hours travel time, the cultural train/Pociąg do Kultury connects Berlin with the Polish metropolis of Breslau (Wrocław) with a great bilingual cultural program on board.

The cultural train runs back and forth from Breslau (Wrocław) on Fridays and back on Saturdays.
Tickets for the cross-border special fare are also available online.
In the VBB area (i.e. between Berlin and Cottbus Hbf) VBB tickets are recognized.
The cultural train ticket from Berlin to Wrocław costs €24.90 (one way. Discounts are possible.
With the Deutschlandticket you can travel to Cottbus main station, then the onward journey to Wrocław costs €19.90
Seat reservation for €4.90
With the Culture Train ticket, public transport in Wrocław is free.
