Ant experts
On November 24th, Dirk and Bianca Drenske (AntsNature) will let participants experience the fascinating world of ants. The two have shared a common passion for two decades.
The teacher and the qualified biologist combine scientific curiosity with educational value. Their 20 years of experience in keeping ants and their observations in the ant kingdom have inspired them to share their findings. In addition to organizing lectures, exhibitions and workshops, the two advise zoos, museums and extracurricular learning centers on their ant projects.
On September 30th, ant expert Dietmar Griebner will lead you through the jungle. With his many years of experience, the tours with him will be a very special experience. In addition to the ants, he is also one of the butterfly experts in the Potsdam Biosphere.
Reading: Tarja and the Return of the Amazons
The book "Tarja and the Return of the Amazons" is about an exciting and at the same time educational adventure in the land of fascinating insects. During the reading, visitors immerse themselves in the story of an unusual bond and friendship between two ants.
While Tarja leaves her people, the Ina-Itas, in search of an adventure, Mari-Copa of the Amazon people is tired of hunting for new slaves. Both are put to the test when the huge army of the previously undefeated Amazons finally appears at the gates of the Ina-Itas. The ideal family experience for children aged 9 and over.
