Contemporary design meets the Bauhaus

In five short films, the collector and journalist Wolfgang Binder presents cleverly designed everyday objects from the past 60 years. Entertaining and educational animated drawings tell the stories behind the designs. Contemporary design encounters objects and ideas from the Bauhaus and its surroundings.

The audience learns why language is also a design tool, why there is a hand sculpture in the dishwashing sponge or how enjoyable it is to make coffee.

The short films will be shown together with the associated objects in the gallery of the temporary bauhaus archive.
