In three chapters, the exhibition uses archive material to ask: Who were the main characters in the drama school's history(s) in the first ten years between the school's founding and the construction of the Wall? Which plays were performed? And how free were the GDR stages for students?

This first of a total of three exhibitions in the "Dramaturgies of an Archive" project highlights the new production archive of the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts.
The exhibition was curated by Krystian Koziol, Paula Engel and Johanna Stapelfeldt.
It will be on display until January 10, 2025.
