This former Cistercian monastery is one of Brandenburg’s most outstanding brick gothic structures.
Today when you visit the Abbey grounds, there are a variety of activities to choose from. For example in our guided tour, you can learn about the historic site’s turbulent (architectural) history as well as interesting facts about the work and lives of medieval monks. You can also attend diverse cultural events, hold meetings, get married (both civil and church ceremonies are possible), view contemporary art in the abbot’s house or just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the monastery complex.
